Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA)
Poly Ethylene – Vinyl Acetate, more commonly known as Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA) is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate. It is an elastomeric polymer which produces materials which have rubber like flexibility & softness. There are three types of EVA depending upon the proportion of Vinyl Acetate (VA) in the copolymer: Low (0 to 4%), Medium (4% to 30%) and High (30% to 60%). It is mainly used for applications like footwear, sports equipment, and adhesive. It is also used as a sealant solution in packaging due to its flexibility and low temperature resistance.
